This year Samsaara takes a serious step towards finding solutions for more sustainable future in urban space. More specifically, the focus lies in finding out what are the opportunities and what are the barriers in re-using old industrial buildings close to the city ceters. Samsaara's hypothesis is that too many old industrial buidlings are vanishing and being replaced by block-type mono-use apartment buildigs or office-buildings.  Around Europe however there have been also other approaches implemented., where priority is given to the majestic old industrial buildings while changing the use in and around that building.
